How Debtconsolidation.id is built to be usable by everyone, and how to report a barrier.
Our aim
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Financial information is exactly the kind of information that must not be locked behind poor accessibility.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading order and a skip-to-content link.
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Calculator results are announced to screen readers and never rely on colour alone.
- Text contrast is checked against the AA threshold; text resizes to 200% without breaking layout.
- Motion is minimal and respects the reduced-motion setting.
- Forms have real labels, visible error text, and errors described in words rather than by colour.
Known limits
Some third-party destinations we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
